EMA Conference Scholarship

• EMA Conference Scholarship ($1000): all members are eligible to apply for this financial assistance to attend the annual conference. Scholarship awardees are required to write an article after the conference for JEMA.
  
  
• AMZAP EMA Conference Scholarship ($1000): all EMA members who are also AMZAP members are eligible to apply for this financial assistance to attend the annual conference.

Please download and submit the EMA Conference Scholarship Award Application Form with supporting materials to Nate Elgart, EMA Scholarship Chairperson, at nelgart@zooatlanta.org by July 10, 2023.

Scholarship winners will be notified by July 31, 2023.

Applicant Criteria

1. Scholarship winners must be EMA members in good standing for at least six months.
2. Scholarship winners must present a paper at the annual EMA conference on a topic that is related to elephants.
3. Scholarship winners must write a paper for the Journal of the Elephant Managers Association (JEMA), on the same topic that was presented at the conference.
